This project was from our Makerss Box in June 2024 and makes a little Wyvern (a type of dragon with two legs and wings) at about 20cm (8 inches) tall.

Skill Level: Felty Fledgling
Techniques used: Using wire and wool, 3d shaping, 2d felting, adding surface texture (curls and eco glitter)

Variegated Fox Rust NZ Merino Batts
Golden Sand SA Merino Tops (wings)
Copper Wensleydale Curls (chest)

1mm cotton covered copper wire (body), small white bird legs, small copper dragon eyes, mixed eco glitter, green #18 paper covered wire (wings & horns).
- Tools: felting needles (#36 coarse, #38 medium), eco wool felting mat, wire cutters/pliers, clear-drying PVA glue
